& Conditions

Welcome to Our Connected Learning Community!

 

Thank you for choosing to enrol your child in our after-school programs. We're excited to welcome your family into our learning community and are committed to providing an enriching, safe, and enjoyable educational experience. Your trust in us is valued, and we look forward to working together to support your child's growth and development.

 

Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
 

1. Agreement Overview
By completing the registration process and making payment through Stripe, you (‘Parent/Guardian’) enter into a binding agreement with Connected Learning Academy Pty Ltd (ACN: 669 467 921)  (‘we,’’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’) for the provision of after-school educational programs (‘Program’) for your child.
 

2. Fairness and Transparency


2.1 These terms are designed to be fair and balanced for all parties involved. If any term is found to be unfair under the Australian Consumer Law, that term shall be read down or severed to the extent necessary while maintaining the overall intent of the agreement.

2.2 We commit to:

a. Clear communication about all aspects of our Programs;
b. Transparent pricing with no hidden fees;
c. Fair and equal treatment of all participants; and
d. Reasonable notice of any changes to Programs or policies.

​3. Fairness and Transparency
 

​3.1 ​The specific details of the Program, including schedule, duration, and content, are as presented during the registration process and form part of this agreement.

3.2 We are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences that nurture your child's growth and development in a supportive environment.

​

4. Payment Details


4.1 Full payment for the Program is required upfront through our secure payment system, Stripe.

4.2 Because we use Stripe to process all payments on our Website, we are not responsible for any payment system errors, outages, or technical issues. We do not accept liability for any losses or costs arising from payment processing problems.

4.3 All payment disputes should first be raised with your financial institution or the payment processor. We will assist with payment enquiries where possible, but act only as a facilitator.

4.4 All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

4.5 Your enrolment is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
 

5. Attendance and Missed Sessions

​

5.1 We strongly encourage consistent attendance as our Programs are designed with progressive learning outcomes where each session builds upon previous knowledge.

5.2 To ensure your child receives the maximum benefit from our Program, please prioritise attendance at all scheduled sessions.

5.3 No refunds or make-up sessions will be provided for missed classes. This policy helps us maintain the quality and consistency of our Programs for all participants.

6. Media Consent

​

6.1 You authorise us to take appropriate photos and videos of your child during our services. We may use these for:

a. our marketing materials;

b. our eduction and care program content;

c. communications and newsletters;

d. our website; and

e. external marketing.

 

6.2 We won't use photos/videos for biometric matching or identification, and we'll never identify your child's name or details. Please let us know if you do not authorise us to take and use photos/videos of your child.

7. Program Feedback and Withdrawal

​

7.1 Your satisfaction with our Programs is important to us. If you have any concerns about the Program or your child's experience:

a. Please reach out to us first so we can understand your concerns.

b. We will work with you to address any issues and find solutions.

c. Our team is committed to making appropriate adjustments where possible.

7.2 If you decide to withdraw from the Program:

a. Simply notify us in writing of your intention to withdraw to hello@connectedlearning.au

b. We'll arrange a conversation to understand your decision and gather valuable feedback.

c. While upfront payments are generally non-refundable, we may consider partial refunds in exceptional circumstances.

 

8. Warranty Disclaimer

We are committed to providing high-quality services, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results for your child. Each child’s experience and progress in the program may vary based on individual circumstances.
 

9. Child Safety and Wellbeing

 

9.1 We are committed to ​creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children in our care.

​

9.2 Our staff members:

a. Hold current Working with Children Checks (WWCC); and

b. Follow our comprehensive Child Safety Policy.

​

9.3 You agree to supply us with any health and safety information regarding your child and their involvement in the Program. This includes but is not limited to: existing court or parenting orders, health or medical conditions and/or medication for your child and specific dietary requirements. You agree to update us if this information changes. We are not liable for any incidents or harm that may occur if you fail to provide or update this information.

10. Behavioural Expectations and Support

​

10.1 We believe in positive behaviour support and working collaboratively with families to ensure all children can participate successfully in our Programs.

​

10.2 Parents/Guardians acknowledge responsibility for their child's behaviour during the Program and the need to work cooperatively with staff to address any behavioural concerns.

​

11. Communication and Partnership

​

11.1 We believe in open communication and partnership with parents/guardians to support each child's learning journey.

​

11.2 You are encouraged to:

a. Share feedback about your child's experience.

b. Discuss any concerns with our Program coordinators.

c. Participate in scheduled parent activities such as end of term showcases.

d. Engage in your child's learning journey through our regular updates.

​

12. Privacy and Personal Information 

​

12.1 We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

13. Program Modifications 

​

13.1 We reserve the right to make reasonable modifications to the Program content or structure to maintain educational quality and meet learning objectives.

13.2 Any significant changes will be communicated to parents/guardians in advance.

​

14. Liability and Insurance 

​

14.1 While we take all reasonable care in providing our services, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law.

​

14.2 You agree to pay us for any reasonable costs we incur due to damage or injury caused by your child while at our service or during any service-related activities.

​

14.3 We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our educational activities.

​

14.4 Parents/Guardians acknowledge that participation in educational activities carries inherent risks, and agree to:

a. Promptly notify us of any concerns or incidents;​

b. Provide accurate health and medical information; and

c. Follow all reasonable safety instructions and guidelines.

​

15. Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

​

16. Severability 

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
